Overview Registered Nurse – PCU (Neuro/Step-down) in Atlanta, GA, start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,696 to $1,843 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 2x3 Nights in a hospital setting. This assignment requires specialization in neurology and step-down care, with EPIC charting and a focus on patient safety and smooth handoffs.

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for adults in the neuro/step-down PCU, including neuro assessments and monitoring
Perform routine and focused neurologic checks, including NIHSS assessments as part of the patient monitoring plan
Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and monitor vital signs, labs, and hemodynamic status
Recognize clinical deterioration and respond promptly; coordinate with neurology/neuro-ICU teams as needed
Document all patient care in the EPIC electronic medical record with accurate, timely charting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan care, discharge, and patient and family education
Requirements
Active RN license to practice in Georgia; Nursys license verification
Must have NIHSS documented in CV packet to be considered
Neuro step-down experience required; strong med/surg background with NIHSS, ACLS, and some step-down exposure may be considered
Minimum 2 years of work in the specialty (neuro/step-down/PCU)
Ability to work in a hospital setting and meet assignment requirements, including night shift
