Plan and provide professional nursing care for orthopaedic patients while supervising licensed and unlicensed care providers. Act as a team leader or charge nurse and participate in clinical performance improvement activities.
Requires a degree from an accredited BSN, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. Must hold a current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina and a BLS certification.

Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
Registered nurses hired between July 1, 2014 and April 11, 2021 without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) are expected to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date but must complete the program within seven years of their start date. Registered nurses hired before July 1, 2014 are not required to enroll in a BSN program to remain in this job classification. Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. If candidate has another compact state RN license, NC state licensure must be obtained within 90 days of hire BLS required.
