The OR Technician assists surgeons with patient draping and maintains aseptic techniques. They are responsible for managing the instrumentation and supplies necessary for safe and efficient surgical procedures.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, graduation from an OR Technician program, and Surgical Technician certification. Additionally, BLS certification and one year of experience or demonstrated scrub ability are required.
The O.R. Technician will assist surgeons with draping the patient and maintaining principles of aseptic technique and instrumentation and supplies required to execute a safe and expedient surgical procedure.
