Requires a high school diploma with 2 years of experience, an associate degree, or 4 years of specific job experience. Must hold IEMA Radiation Therapist credentials and obtain BLS and ARRT certifications within specified timeframes.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments while accurately preparing, positioning, and selecting appropriate technical/anatomic parameters for patients. Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to deliver individualized treatment plans and ensure high-quality imaging and documentation (PACS compliance). Maintain accurate, detailed records of all therapy sessions and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards. Operate, maintain, and adjust radiation equipment while supporting a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiation Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
