Assists physicians in the examination and treatment of patients by performing delegated clinical duties and measuring vital signs. Responsible for preparing treatment rooms, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for patient care.
Requires graduation from an approved technical or vocational program and certification as an RMA or CMA, or a current RN/LPN license. Must be CPR certified and possess skills in EKG, injections, and venipuncture, with up to one year of experience preferred.

Demonstrates flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments. Exhibits dependability in areas such as attendance, punctuality and the timely performance of duties. Demonstrates proficiency in assisting with medical procedures on adults and children. Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the treatment area. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of clean and sterile procedures in the use of medical equipment.
