Perform clinical and administrative duties including patient triage, blood draws, and assisting physicians with procedures. Manage patient flow, maintain medical records, and handle refill requests to ensure high-quality primary care.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. Candidates must have one year of EMR experience (Athena preferred) and be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Triage patients and draw blood (venipuncture). Ensure patients are in the exam room within 15 minutes of check-in. Scan patient documents into the system. Assist physicians with procedures and lab requests. Prepare patient charts 24 hours in advance. Answer patient messages and process refill requests promptly. Maintain organized and stocked medication, exam, and lab rooms. Perform routine lab tests and complete HEDIS measures. Coordinate patient flow and maintain records. Participate in quality improvement, and continuing education, and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant 1 year of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Experience - (Athena preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish)
