Weekly pay: $2,175–$2,372. The CT/X-ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards established by radiologists and professional bodies, delivering quality care in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for CT and X-ray in accordance with radiologist protocols and approved techniques.
Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images with fixed and portable X-ray equipment and in the CT room; adjust exposure settings and patient positioning as needed.
Apply ALARA principles by adjusting the table, radiation beam, and exposure to minimize radiation exposure while achieving diagnostic-quality images.
Process images in PACS for the Radiologist; document, charge, and process exams within the electronic medical record; coordinate scheduling for X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor as applicable.
Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams; participate in ongoing equipment and patient safety quality control activities.
Requirements
Active license: RT(R) ARRRT (ARRT-certified radiologic technologist)
Certifications: ARRT (R)(ARRT) required
Experience: Preferred 1 year of CT technologist experience
Knowledge/skills: Proficiency in radiographic procedures, radiation physics, and human anatomy/physiology
Schedule: Ability to work in a rotating shift with weekends and on-call obligations
