Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging examinations in accordance with departmental procedures and protocols
• Set up equipment, position patients, and select appropriate scanning parameters for each study
• Ensure image quality while maintaining radiation safety and patient safety and comfort
• Adapt protocols as needed to optimize diagnostic results and minimize exposure
• Verify patient identity, document procedures, label images, and communicate findings to the radiology team
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and assist in procedures requiring CT imaging

Requirements

• Active radiologic technologist license or eligibility in Georgia
• ARRT Certification in CT or eligible
• Experience performing CT imaging procedures and operating CT equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety, dose optimization, and image quality principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a radiology team
• Flexibility to work the stated 4x10 day shift schedule and meet department needs
