Performs a wide range of clinical laboratory testing accurately and timely while maintaining quality control and assurance standards. Responsible for effective communication between shifts and continuing education to adapt to increasing testing complexity.
Requires a BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Science, or equivalent, and must be ASCP eligible. Candidates should have 0-2 years of experience and possess strong communication and computer skills.

Performs a wide range of clinical laboratory testing in an accurate and timely fashion by utilizing technical and problem solving skills in conjunction with a thorough knowledge of clinical laboratory principles. Maintains effective communications and transfers testing and pending follow ups between employees and shifts following all CHAMP and HRO standards. Maintains all Quality Control and Quality Assurance standards at all times. Maintains operational effectiveness and assumes full responsibility for continuing education requirements, licensure, and expertise to adapt as needed to an expanding department with increased testing complexity.
