The scholar will study how lipid and toluene modulate ion channels that control the cerebrovasculature. Research will be conducted using rodent and non-human primate models.
A Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field is required. Candidates must have experience with in vivo Doppler ultrasound imaging and confocal microscopy.
The Postdoctoral Scholar studies lipid/toluene modulation of ion channels that control the cerebrovasculature in rodents and non-human primates (baboons).
