The RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, and delivery of nursing care for patients across Surgical, Medical, and Cardiovascular ICUs. Key duties include managing advanced critical care technologies, performing procedures, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Minnesota Registered Nurse License and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of ICU or 18 months of IMC/PCU experience. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire, and a BSN or BAN is preferred.
Fairview Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Critical Care Flex Team at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank in Minneapolis, MN. About the Critical Care Flex Team Our Critical Care Flex Team provides coverage across three ICUs within the East Bank facility:Surgical ICU (SICU), Medical ICU (MICU) and Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) This dynamic role offers a high degree of autonomy while working with a strong interdisciplinary team. You will manage the full scope of critical care nursing with access to support resources for tasks such as IV placement and lab coordination. As the primary caregiver, you will perform procedures, manage medication titrations, and partner closely with providers to deliver exceptional patient care.
Minnesota Registered Nurse License Basic Life Support (BLS) 1 year of ICU experience - OR – 18 months of IMC/ PCU experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Arts in Nursing
