The Recovery Support Specialist provides natural supports and advocacy to individuals in behavioral health recovery to help them maintain stability. They facilitate recovery groups, document encounters in EHR, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet treatment goals.
Requires a High School Diploma and a Certified Peer Counselor (CPC) certification with registration through the Washington State Care Authority. Candidates must have lived experience in behavioral health recovery for at least one year and be able to perform physical restraint techniques.
