The Pediatrician performs patient examinations, diagnoses medical conditions, prescribes treatments, and maintains accurate medical records. They are also responsible for ensuring patient satisfaction and fostering positive relationships with staff and other physicians.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical school with specialization in pediatric medicine and have completed a certified residency program. Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics is required, along with necessary licensure to practice in Iowa.

Reports to: Medical Director
• Must be willing to as a resource for questions from Pediatric Nurse Practitioners within the clinic.
• Pediatric patients.
This position operates in a clinical setting, will be exposed to bloodborne pathogen hazard to eyes, hands and torso, puncture/penetration hazard to hands, particulates and blood/body fluid hazard to respiratory. PPE is required.
This position requires continuous Sitting (67% - 100% of shift); occasional standing (1% - 33% of shift); continuously lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. (67% - 100% of shift); occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. (34% - 66% of shift); occasional pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs. (34% - 66% of shift); continuous finger dexterity and use of hands/arms for repetitive movement (67% - 100% of shift);frequent twisting and reaching at and below shoulder level; occasional bending/stooping, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder level. (34% - 66% of shift); occasional driving with and without loading and unloading items, occasional exposure to odors.
Occasional travel and driving are expected for this position.
