About the role

The Social Skills Counselor Level 1 will engage in rehabilitation counseling activities to support individuals in restoring their social and interpersonal skills. The role focuses on recovery interventions that help individuals regain their functional level.

$16.48-$17.48 (depending on related experience)

Nature of Work

Rehabilitation Counseling includes recovery activities and interventions that support and restore social and interpersonal skills necessary to restore the individual’s functional level to the fullest.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree preferred in the Human Services field.
  • Must have experience working with adults with either substance abuse or mental health disorders.
  • Must meet the requirements of the Mental Health Regulations regarding Justice Center Staff Exclusion List clearance, and Justice Center Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
