$1,598–$1,642 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Shift

• 2x3 Nights.
• Work setting: hospital floor with high-acuity surgical-trauma patients. This is a travel, temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. EPIC is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-acuity surgical-trauma patients, monitoring vital signs and clinical status
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for complex cases (surgical, gunshot injuries, quadriplegia/paraplegia)
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the EPIC system; ensure accurate handoffs between ED and admitting units
• Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards; adjust care plans as needed
• Support the care team with available resources (Nursing Support Techs, phlebotomists, and night unit secretary) to maintain efficient patient flow

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg, trauma, or related high-acuity specialty
• Ability to work night shifts on a high-acuity surgical-trauma floor
• No routine time off (RTO) during the assignment; must be willing to work given shifts
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with ED staff and admitting unit handoffs
