The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and providing respiratory care for those with critical and complex medical conditions. Key duties include performing endotracheal tube procedures and counseling patients and their families.
Candidates must hold an active CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, and BLS and ACLS certifications. A high school diploma or GED is required, and one year of related experience is preferred.
Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers. Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs. Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff. Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
