Provide nursing and technical support for patients receiving cancer diagnostics and chemotherapy treatments. Collaborate with oncologists and staff to ensure safe treatment delivery and compassionate client communication.
Requires veterinary technician experience with strong technical skills in venipuncture and catheter placement; oncology or specialty experience is strongly preferred. Credentialed Veterinary Technicians are preferred, and availability for weekends and holidays is required.
About the Job
This role provides nursing and technical support to patients receiving cancer diagnostics, treatments, and ongoing care within the oncology service. This role works closely with oncologists, fellow technicians, assistants, and client service teams to ensure safe treatment delivery, compassionate client communication, thorough documentation, and excellent continuity of care. This individual will thrive in a specialty environment that requires both strong technical ability and the ability to support clients through emotional and complex medical situations
