Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations of internal organs, tissues, and vascular structures using high-frequency sound waves. Manage patient preparation, operate ultrasound equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to provide preliminary observations.
Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and ARDMS certification. Candidates should have 1-2 years of clinical ultrasound experience and proficiency in multiple ultrasound modalities.
ARDMS or equivalent required; BLS/CPR certification preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years of ultrasound experience in a clinical or imaging center setting.
