Description Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida is currently searching for a part-time Registered Nurse to support our Level II Surgery Room. This position will primarily work on Fridays All Day, with potential for expansion and cross coverage.
for this position include: Provide excellent care to patients following in office procedures Assist providers with procedures, as needed Maintain level II protocols and ensure procedures are up to date and compliant with AHCA regulations Maintain, clean, and keep level II equipment up to date Oversee the cleanliness of the procedure room and recovery room to ensure we maintain the highest standards in infection control Coverage for clinics, as needed for additional procedure days (Tuesday / Thursday) Other nursing related duties, as assigned
Skills and Abilities: Excellent listening skills Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to make sound clinical judgements based on patient concerns and/or provider input Ability to remain calm and focused in a volume environment Education and Experience: Associates or Bachelor's degree in nursing with an active Florida RN license Current ACLS and BLS Certifications 1+ years previous patient care experience, preferred Previous orthopedic, spine and/or pain management, preferred Previous PACU experience, preferred Physical Requirements: Requires frequent and often repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, walking, squatting, pushing and sitting May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
