Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job

Overview Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care (LTC) in Petoskey, Michigan. Travel assignment starting 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and 3x12-hour day shifts (630 am–7:00 pm), every other weekend. Weekly pay ranges from $1,876 to $1,937. This assignment is in an inpatient care setting with LTC responsibilities, supervised by the department manager/director and charge nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct RN care for adult and elderly patients in an LTC/inpatient setting, under supervision
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor patient status and respond to changes
• Perform focused nursing assessments, document findings, and participate in care planning with an interdisciplinary team
• Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and activities of daily living as needed
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, ensure safety and infection control protocols, and follow hospice/palliative care guidelines as appropriate
• Adhere to unit policies, including a strict attendance policy: 3 strikes for absence or lateness (more than 20 minutes) with immediate termination; exceptions apply for verified illness or hospitalization

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license - 2+ years of RN LTC experience (required)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• MI LTC fingerprinting is a valued credential and may enhance candidacy
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and the specified schedule; reliability in a travel assignment
