The COTA assists in providing rehabilitative services to elderly patients with various impairments under the direction of occupational therapists. Key duties include implementing therapy programs, monitoring patient progress, and instructing families on adaptive equipment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited therapy program and hold a current state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. One to two years of related experience and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds are required.
Three (3) shifts per calendar month | Regularly covering weekend shifts is expected | Two (2) holidays per year.
