The ECMO Specialist manages all aspects of extracorporeal life support, including assembling, priming, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure patient stability. They collaborate with healthcare teams and mentor new staff while supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Respiratory Therapy and at least 3 years of critical care experience. Required certifications include BLS and a valid Minnesota state license for the respective track.
