Phlebotomist

• We have an immediate opening for a qualified Phlebotomist to fill a full-time position at our Winter Park location.
• This is an exciting and challenging position with a practice that continues to grow.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills.
• This position requires independent judgment as well as the ability to work closely with a team of clinicians.
• Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills; capable of multi-tasking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; computer and telephone skills required.
• Infertility and/or Women's Health experience is preferred.

Hours

• Monday -
• Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with rotating Saturdays and holidays

Job Duties include

· Performs phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions.

· Ensures lab specimens are sent to proper labs.

· Documents patient care services utilizing daily logs, patient records, and appropriate outside laboratory forms.

· Comforts patients by anticipating anxieties, answering questions, providing support.

Education Requirements

• Phlebotomy diploma REQUIRED. Certification preferred. Must love doing Phlebotomy - all day, every day!!
• at least 1 year of experience performing phlebotomy
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual-Spanish a plus!
