Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at the Togus Va Medical Center in Augusta, Maine. Full-time Opportunity, Monday through Friday 8 hour days, 7:30am to 4:30pm Full complement of benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401k, paid time off and more Job Requirements: The Position will have the following requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree Certification from a nationally recognized accrediting agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT etc.) Must have a minimum of two (2) years of laboratory experience. Job Duties include but not limitied to: Will perform a broad range of laboratory procedures, including advanced and complex laboratory procedures. Must be able to recognize deviation from expected results and use scientific principles to analyze and correct problems. Evaluate and solve problems related to collection and processing of biological specimens for analysis accounting for physiologic processes and requirements. Maintain and document the optimal functioning of laboratory equipment. Use, calibrate, and identify malfunctions; repair and perform preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
