$150,000 - $175,000 / YEAR
Diagnose and treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders of the feet and ankles using surgical and non-surgical options. Provide comprehensive patient care, including wound management, prescriptions, and preventive education.
Must hold a Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine, complete an accredited residency, and possess a current Virginia Podiatrist license. Proficiency in EMR systems and knowledge of legal/ethical medical standards are required.
Examine patient’s legs and feet to diagnose diseases Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles Perform wound care management Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team Provide health promotion and preventive medicine Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients
