Description We are a podiatry group located in the greater Norfolk and Suffolk, Virginia area looking for a Podiatrist to join our team at 1Foot 2Foot.
We currently have four locations across the Norfolk metro area.
Our group has nine podiatrists in Virginia who listen and respond to patients, treating each one as a unique individual deserving of first-rate, personalized care.
The podiatrists prevent, identify, and treat all aspects of foot pathologies with outstanding success to allow our patients to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
This is a well-rounded podiatry office that utilizes surgical and non-surgical treatment options for patients of all ages.
Established in 2006, 1Foot 2Foot recently partnered with Balance Health, the nation’s premier comprehensive lower-extremity focused Physician Practice.
Under the direction and assistance of multiple established Podiatrists who believe in teamwork, the Podiatrist would be expected to perform the following:
Examine patient’s legs and feet to diagnose diseases Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles Perform wound care management Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team Provide health promotion and preventive medicine Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients
