Responsible for assessing and treating individuals with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders through evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy. The role involves developing recovery-focused service plans and maintaining accurate clinical documentation according to agency standards.
Requires a Master's degree in a Human Services field and a minimum of two years of clinical experience working with both children and adults. Candidates must possess a valid Florida driver's license and be able to pass a Level II background screening and drug test.
Responsible for assessing and treating mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders. Complete thorough comprehensive assessments for adults and children, as scheduled and/or needed. Development and implementation of recovery-focused service plans, which include measurable objectives stated in appropriate terms. Provide evidence-based brief and solution-focused individual, marital, family, and/or group therapy. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, per agency standards. Effectively communicate with related community service organizations to include presentations to the community, assigned. Respond to crisis situations for current caseload, as needed. Average caseload for full-time outpatient therapist is based on program and statutory requirements. Able to meet standard agency expectations, based on an annualized target. Ability to evaluate patient needs and provide direct services Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, community agencies, and other stakeholders. Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to care and treatment of individuals with psychiatric or phase of life problems; including overall treatment concepts and objectives. Computer proficiency, attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Ability to sit for periods of time. Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test. Valid FL drivers’ license, insurance, and safe driving record.
