The Licensed Practical Nurse provides physician support and nursing care to a specific patient population. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing treatments, and collecting patient data under the direction of a provider or registered nurse.
Candidates must be a graduate of a Practical Nursing program and hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license. One year of nursing experience in a related area is preferred.
The Licensed Practical Nurse-WPP is responsible for providing physician support and nursing care to the selected patient population. This is demonstrated through treatments, administration of medication, patient data collection, and other specified assignments under the direction of a provider or registered nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse-WPP understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values and management of WakeMed Faculty Physicians. Department Description
