The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, managing phone calls, and tracking medical records, referrals, and labs. Additionally, the role involves obtaining medication authorizations and assisting nursing staff as needed.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant program and hold a current CPR/BLS certification. Certification as a Medical Assistant and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are preferred.
