The LVN provides skilled nursing care and gathers data on the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families. They are responsible for monitoring vital signs and reporting abnormal lab findings to the RN.
Overview Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of normal limits of vital signs and commonly used lab tests by recognizing abnormal findings and reports them to the RN. Current licensure as a LVN in the State of California. Current Basic Life Support certification and ACLS required. Required IV certification. Required NIHSS Stroke certification.
