More about our team

• Join our team in a 81-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit.
• Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers.
• Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
• Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness.
• This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

A Behavioral Health Tech (CNA I), who excels in this role

• Accurately identifies patient needs
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for activities of daily living

What we’re looking for- a compassionate nursing assistant dedicated to mental health and the well-being of the patients.

• Applicants should have a current state NA I license and completed NA course from an accredited school. Additional requirements include:
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred
