About the role

Performs a broad range of laboratory procedures using established protocols in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and microbiology. Exercises independent judgment to ensure accurate testing and reporting within the core laboratory.

Responsibilities

Will be working in Core lab. MLT/MT Job Summary Performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require moderate to broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility. Medical Laboratory Technicians or Medical Laboratory Scientists perform a broad range of laboratory procedures or may be specialized in areas of blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology and laboratory send out reference testing

Qualifications

MLT/MT requirements Associate or Bachelor Degree in applied science for medical laboratory technology, biology, chemistry, or related science with a year of clinical training in an accredited school of medical technology.
Must be registered by a nationally recognized certification agency or registry eligible.
Active certification preferred.
