The staff RN provides professional care to a group of patients using the nursing process and therapeutic modalities. They are responsible for patient accountability and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a current California RN license and certifications in BLS Level C and NRP. At least one year of level III NICU experience, including care for ventilated infants, is required.
Overview The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Current California RN License. Current Basic Life Support Level C (Healthcare Provider) certification. Current NRP certification. One year level III NICU nursing experience to include care of the ventilated infant.
