Job description

RN - Emergency Department\n\n * 30-bed Emergency Care Unit\n * Rapid paced, high acuity unit with 155 visits per day; > 55,000 annual visits\n * ACLS, PALS, and EKG provided\n * An orientation program facilitated by a Clinical Educator, focused on\n Emergency Nursing especially for the novice nurse\n * Emergency Nursing Association (ENA) orientation curriculum offered (online)\n * Full time (72 hours biweekly)\n * Shift: 12 hour Day/Evening rotation \n * Every third weekend\n * Eligible for shift and weekend differential\n\nThe Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing\nand coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process:\nassessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and\ntreatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population\ngroup served on the specific unit.
