The GRNA provides safe, patient-centric anesthetic care for medical and surgical procedures in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and ensuring continuity of care.
Candidates must be recent graduates of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program with a current Connecticut RN license and pending APRN licensure. Must pass the certification exam by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetists within 90 days of graduation.
