The Ultrasound Technologist operates equipment to create quality images of the body based on physician orders. They are responsible for providing safe, professional, and efficient patient care.
Candidates must be a graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and hold a certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Technologist in Sonography. One year of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred.
The Ultrasound Technologist operates ultrasound equipment to make quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
