The Respiratory Therapist performs specialized respiratory care duties and procedures under the supervision of a medical director. Responsibilities include airway management, ventilatory support, and participating in rapid response and code teams.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program and licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in Minnesota. Required certifications include CRT, BLS, and the ability to obtain RRT, PALS, and NRP credentials.

The Respiratory Therapist performs specific respiratory care duties and responsibilities under the supervision of the medical director. The Respiratory Therapist must be able to adapt to the particular area of duty assignment and must be able to perform special duties required by the assignment. The Respiratory Therapist performs all respiratory care procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
This is a cross-campus position for both Mpls and St. Paul.
*Licensed with the State of Minnesota as a Respiratory Therapist. *Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). *RRT credential within 3 months in the role. RRT must be maintained in active status. *Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. *PALS, NRP certified or within 6 months in the role.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
