Maintain respiratory and cardiac status of patients recovering from anesthesia through continuous assessment and execution of physician orders. Provide direct nursing care, manage medication administration, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to update treatment plans.
Requires a Registered Nurse (RN) license and an associate degree in nursing, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Must possess or obtain BLS and ACLS certifications and demonstrate basic knowledge of critical care and dysrhythmia.
This position maintains adequate respiratory and cardiac status of patients awakening from anesthesia. Continually assesses the patient, carries out doctor's orders while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
