Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment for adult residents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments
- Monitor progress, document results, adjust goals, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
- Screen residents for swallowing disorders and coordinate dysphagia management
- Participate in care planning meetings and provide family/caregiver education
- Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements, facility policies, and professional standards
Requirements
- Active Montana Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Experience with geriatric populations or long-term care settings is preferred
- Ability to work days with 36 hours per week for a 13-week assignment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records documentation and collaborative teamwork
