The LPCC is responsible for conducting mental health assessments and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients. They provide individual, group, and family therapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and a valid LPCC license. A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a mental health setting is required.
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Valid and active LPCC license or equivalent in the state. Minimum of two (2) years of direct counseling or facilitation experience in a mental health setting. Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and handle challenging situations with professionalism and grace. Passion for helping individuals and families heal and thrive.
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions in a supportive environment. Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate client growth and development. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community organizations, to coordinate care. Participate in regular interdisciplinary training & supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills. Promote a safe and welcoming environment for all clients, respecting diversity and individual differences. Cross-train in various departmental functions to enhance operational flexibility and support team efficiency.
