• SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROFESSIONAL / FULL TIME & PART TIME OPPORTUNITIES We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented substance abuse professional who is passionate about supporting people on their recovery journey.

Requirements

Current Illinois IDHS license as a Substance Abuse Professional (e.g., CADC, LSW, LPC, or equivalent). SAP-DOT qualification required. Minimum 2 years of experience providing substance use counseling or related behavioral-health services. Strong interpersonal, documentation, and crisis-management skills. Commitment to evidence-based practices and ethical standards. Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling for clients struggling with substance use disorders. Complete assessments and create personalized treatment plans. Monitor progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and IDHS standards. Facilitate educational workshops, relapse-prevention programs, and family support sessions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community resources to support recovery.
