The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing, directing, and coordinating patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes treating physical and psychosocial changes specific to the oncology and nephrology patient population.
Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and a valid Pennsylvania RN license, with a BSN preferred. CPR certification is required, and previous experience in a specialty area is preferred.
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit.
