Provide skilled nursing care for general surgical, vascular, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and orthopedic patients. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to update treatment plans.
Requires a Registered Nurse license and an associate degree in nursing, with a bachelor's degree preferred. Mandatory certifications include BLS, ACLS, and TEAM Advanced, with telemetry training required for new hires.
This position has basic medical/surgical knowledge in order to care for general surgical, vascular, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and orthopedic surgical patients, which may include surgical step-down patient population. Employees who are in the casual position are required to pick up shifts as outlined in the Midland Nursing Casual Employee Policy.
