Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Practical Nursing program with a current NYS LPN license and BCLS certification. Completion of Infection Control and Child Abuse training is required, with one year of clinical experience preferred.

We are looking for a caring, skilled, and committed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to be part of our compassionate nursing team. As an LPN at BMS, you’ll work under the direction of Registered Nurses and alongside medical providers to support patients through personalized, high-quality healthcare. You’ll play a key role in care delivery, education, and patient advocacy across our five community sites.
What You’ll Do Prepare patients for visits and ensure a smooth, efficient clinical workflow Assist physicians and mid-level providers with medical procedures Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as ordered by providers Monitor patients and promptly report changes to RNs or providers Conduct patient education and counseling, and distribute health resources Make and follow up on internal and external referrals for specialty care Document all care activities in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Support daily pre-visit planning alongside Patient Care Associates Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and secure medication storage Perform routine screening tests and assist with patient procedures Uphold infection control and HIPAA compliance standards Float between BMS sites as needed to meet patient and team needs What You Bring Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program Current NYS License, Certification, and Registration as an LPN At least one year of experience in a clinical nursing role (preferred) BCLS Certification, and completed Infection Control & Child Abuse training (required) Bilingual in Spanish or Creole is a plus Ability to work flexibly and float across multiple BMS locations Why Join BMS?
