Provides comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing angiography and interventional cardiac catheterization, including structural heart and vascular procedures. Responsibilities include procedural setup, operating lifesaving equipment like IABP and Impella, and managing pre- and post-procedure patient care.
Requires a Registered Nurse license and an Associate's degree in Nursing, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications and typically 2 years of critical care nursing experience in a medical center.
This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This position cares for Structural heart, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic / planned intervention Neuro, Vascular and EP pacemaker / device patients. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of procedural process, post-procedure care and patient education.
