$0.00 - $0.00 The Laboratory of Dr. Wei Sun is inviting applications for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join his research program in the Department of Immunology & Microbial Diseases at Albany Medical College. Ongoing projects focus on the cellular and molecular regulation of lung immune responses during vaccination with bacterial outer membrane vesicle (OMV)-based vaccines and infection with respiratory pathogens, including Yersinia pestis and Streptococcus pneumoniae, using murine models.
Applicants with a recent PhD in Immunology, Bacterial Pathogenesis, or a related discipline in the Biological Sciences, and a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications, are encouraged to apply. Experience in multi-parameter flow cytometry and familiarity with murine models of infection are preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and scientific dissemination. Salary will be commensurate with experience and in accordance with NIH guidelines.
