The Client Care Specialist 2 provides clinical and administrative support in wellness clinics, focusing on HIV/STI testing and prevention. Responsibilities include collecting medical histories, recording vitals, performing phlebotomy, and managing patient registration and electronic charts.
Candidates must possess a valid phlebotomy license or a diploma from a completed Medical Assistant educational program. Proficiency in venipuncture and sample collection for laboratory analysis is required.

A Client Care Specialist 2 (CC2) contributes to AHF by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics. A CCS2 is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs.
A CCS2 enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. With a versatile skill set and dedication to seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, CCS2s contribute to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The CCS2 will work as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care by collecting medical histories, managing tests/screenings, recording vitals, and addressing health complaints. They will facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation. The role requires proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports. A valid phlebotomy license or medical assistant diploma is necessary, with skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory analysis.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid MA diploma from a completed MA educational program
