The Pediatric Dental Hygienist is responsible for assessing dental conditions and providing preventive treatments such as prophylaxis and sealants. They also handle patient education, oral health instruction, and the maintenance of accurate patient records.

Keystone dental care is seeking a pediatric dental hygienist to join the team.

Job responsibilities

  • Assess dental condition and needs of patient including screening of head, neck, and oral cavity for disease.
  • Responsible for dental prophylaxis, topical fluoride application, sealants, radiographs, patient education including oral health instruction and the plaque control program.
  • Providing routine preventive treatment for new and existing patients.
  • Accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records.

Qualifications

  • Certified as a registered dental hygienist
  • Public health dental hygiene practitioner preferred but not required.
  • Current cpr certification
  • Radiographic skills

Requirements

Candidates must be certified as a Registered Dental Hygienist and hold a current CPR certification. Proficiency in radiographic skills is required, and a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner certification is preferred.
