Provides direct primary care within the office setting Collaborates with Dental Hygienists EPIC EMR Full time Outpatient Position
Examine patients’ medical records Prepare patients for treatment (e.g. by applying oral sedation or anesthesia) Check teeth, gums and other parts of the mouth, along with X-rays and tests, to diagnose dental problems Identify tooth decay and provide restorative care Design and fit dental prosthetics, such as bridges, crowns and dentures Conduct tooth extractions and root canal procedures Perform surgeries on diseased tissues and bones Prescribe medication as needed Periodontal therapy Minor oral surgeries Educate patients on oral care Professional Skills: DDS/DMD Degree from an accredited School of Dentistry Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania Current CPR Certification
