Location: Ashland, Ky Company: TPC Wellness Part Time Behavioral Health Outpatient Therapist Answers to: Clinical Program Director

• Position Overview The Behavioral Health Therapist works under the direction of the Clinical Program Director to provide assessments, therapy, and treatment planning for individuals and families.
• The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for supporting individuals on their recovery journey.
• Key Responsibilities Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to determine treatment needs.
• Develop individualized case plans in collaboration with individuals served.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions (under supervision as applicable).
• Document progress, behaviors, and interactions in clear, timely case notes.
• Monitor and track individual progress throughout treatment.
• Communicate relevant information with staff, probation officers, and other professionals.
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
• Create aftercare plans for individuals upon discharge.
• Liaise with insurance companies as requested.
• Assist with yearly audits and compile required documentation.
• Contribute feedback to improve programming and services.
• Attend required yearly training and maintain compliance with licensure.
• Collaborate with other departments and assist where needed.

Qualifications

Required Licensure: LPCA LCSW (must remain current and valid). Valid driver’s license required.

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling Skills & Attributes Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with technology and clinical documentation systems.
