What you'll do As an LPN in Child & Adolescent Services, you will support psychiatric and medical care for youth receiving medication management services. Responsibilities include: Assisting the psychiatrist with medication management and treatment planning Administering, monitoring, ordering, and dispensing medications Conducting routine physical and mental health assessments Completing medical intakes and obtaining vital signs Monitoring clients for medication effectiveness and side effects Providing education and supportive counseling to clients and families Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation Managing medication inventory and ensuring proper medication security Scheduling medical appointments and coordinating follow-up care Communicating effectively with treatment team members regarding client needs
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program with a current, active Virginia LPN license and one (1) year of experience administering medications in a psychiatric, behavioral health, substance use treatment, long-term care, or related healthcare setting.
